Skirt Season is Here

I often used to wear pants or tailored trousers, but over the last year or so, I’ve gravitated towards wearing more skirts.

I think one of the reasons for this change is the wider range of styles available now. They way we dress and style them has also evolved, changing how often we reach for them. Skirts are longer and more versatile, easily paired with heels, sandals or sneakers to suit any occasion. They’re easy to style and a comfortable, adaptable piece you’ll find yourself reaching for everyday. I absolutely adore a skirt!

Our skirts are perfect for wearing now through to the summer months. I’m currently wearing my skirts with lighter knitwear and accessories such as a belt, which adds some playful texture. Paired with a simple sandal or a sneaker helps me dress to suit the occasion. Come the warmer months, and knitwear can be swapped for a simple top or t-shirt. If needed, you can add a light jacket and a heel to elevate the look while staying a bit warmer.

Some of these skirts I’m showing you have a matching blouse or top in the same print. This is great because you can pair them together to create the look of a dress effortlessly. It’s perfect if you sometimes struggle to find a dress that fits just right - whether you’re between sizes or have different measurements across your bust and hips. You can choose the right size for each piece, making it work for your body. Plus, you’ll have a beautiful blouse or top you can wear separately, making the most of both pieces. It’s a versatile combination and definitely worth picking up both in the same print.

There are some gorgeous prints and colours in this range. You might think the fabric is linen because of its lovely textured, linen-like appearance, but it’s actually 100% polyester. This makes it super easy to care for - no ironing needed, even on hot summer days. The coordinating top and skirt are affordable, making it easy to create a complete dress-look combo without breaking the bank. Available in some gorgeous prints like Blue Garden, Navy Ivory Leaf (my personal favourite), and Pink Green Garden.

We also have another style made of Printed Viscose Nylon (7667C1). It’s A-line silhouette flatters all shapes, while the pull-on construction with a flat front and half elastic waist ensures a perfect fit and easy wear. With a stylish faux 12-button front detail, tie belt and practical side pockets, this skirt is certainly adaptable enough to dress up or down for any occasion.

Available in colourways, Green Garden, which can be paired with its matching blouse, and Indigo Lavender Leaf which would look fabulous with a simple white top. Wearing these skirts makes me feel feminine and confident. I love how versatile they are to style in different ways, making them one of the standout pieces in my wardrobe this season.
