There is nothing more classic and smart for summer than a navy and white stripe, as it lends itself to an almost nautical look...

Just arrived this week in all our stores, is our new range of Linen Blend Stripe. Coming in a number of styles so you can mix or match! I love garments that do this as you can extend your looks using the same garments.

Thinking of summer, I would like to start off first and talk about the shorts. A perfect dressy pair of shorts, modest in length lending itself to being more wearable and an easy fit with the elastic waistband for comfort. Simply add your own T-shirt or shirt in any bright summer colour. Perhaps a kelly green would be a great option this season, as green is one of the hottest colours right now. But honestly, white looks so good with navy along with hot pink, any yellow or jade green, and one of my all-time favourites combos coral or orange looks fabulous with navy.

There is of course the matching top, which also gives you another look.

Wearing the two pieces together makes for a really
smart set, and sets are a new happening thing.

There are lots of matching sets that look very strong in high fashion stores in the same fabrics to be worn together. A simple shell-style top, with a round neckline and short sleeves. Wear them with the shorts, cropped pants, or a denim skirt which are all on trend again too. I Imagine wearing this top, with just a pair of white denim, resulting in a very smart classic look, you could then add a denim jacket or even a blazer for a cooler evening.

The crop pant is very cute, and I like that tie detail, giving you a more casual but finished look. Again you can pair it with the matching top or a shirt in any colour.

Sometimes you want to wear a dress and we certainly like those this season, it does make dressing so simplistic as it’s a one and you’re done.

So a few styles to choose from here, but honestly they are all great and I am in love with the stripe. It looks crisp and fabulous in the navy and white Linen Blend Stripe, where you can just simply add your summer colour or keep it classic with white or wear stripe on stripe!
