Arrived into our Caroline Eve stores are our 100% Cotton Knit dresses. Often in the summer months we talk about cotton, but these cotton dresses are the ideal trans-seasonal piece as they are perfect for layering.

It’s a simple case of buy now and wear now, perhaps with these cooler mornings just add a little jacket or cardigan until the day has warmed up a bit.
I see these dresses in their glorious colours as great foundations for your wardrobe, and with most of the dresses being plain, gives you a great base to work with.

This season, we have three styles available: a three-tier vee neck with 3/4 sleeves, a three-tier round neck with long sleeves, and a shorter two-tier with round neck and long sleeves.

Each style is available in two or three colours, including new colours such as French Navy, which is a much fresher youthful take on Navy. Raspberry again, a much more youthful colour resembling Burgundy or Berry colours, and then of course there is Chocolate.

If you have been out and about in any fashion stores of late, you will have noticed how much Chocolate or Espresso Browns are about- it really is one of the highlight colours for the new season.

Add a jacket by all means, but I am loving the look of the long cardigan with a dress this season. Add your print or another texture perhaps through scarves or even possibly a hat. Wear with sneakers in the weekend, or with boots during the working week.

You can understand why I think these dresses make for a great foundation piece, while adding layers and interest, you will easily show off your own sense of style.
