I have one of these fabulous satin skirts and the first thing I would like to mention, is that they’re so very comfortable and easy to wear. I have found that although it is a satin look, it certainly isn’t just a skirt for the more dressy occasions, which I am sure some of you think.

I have had mine for a while now and have worn it during the winter months, with a slightly oversized sweater and boots and it was perfect as the knitwear covered the tummy area. But we’re not thinking about winter right now, so I thought I would like to show you how to wear these skirts for this season, and how worn with different tops gives you great versatility.

As I mentioned before, these skirts are not just assigned for the more dressy occasion. Simply make a few small changes and you can downplay this skirt too. Wear the skirt with a very basic white t-shirt and even a denim or linen blend jacket, add some sneakers and this is a great casual look.

For a bit more of a change, you could mix up your t-shirt and make it a graphic print, similar to the ones I have shown you above. Another look that is very in now is a full monochromatic look, and so below I have a top and shoes in the same tone, as you can see this particular top is worn out giving a soft look and soft edge.

When you do want to elevate your look for a more dressy occasion, quite a bit of emphasis will be on what style of shoe you wear and the softness of the fabric on your top is something to note also.

Here I have a soft white and black print with a touch of lurex giving you a little glamour and a black heel to finish it off. Add a gorgeous little bag with a chain strap perhaps and some jewels for the finishing touch and it’s an easy change-up.
