I was in one of our Caroline Eve stores a few days ago merchandising our new season styles and colours, and admiring some of the gorgeous new prints that we have on offer. I know some of you will be thinking, it’s too early to be wearing these, but these garments are purchased with trans-seasonal wear in mind. I always think the wow products arrive first to get us excited about what lies ahead for the season and some ladies really look forward to something new and fresh, me included

This season it really is about new colours and prints and so for the next few weeks that’s what I will be talking about.

The gorgeous print I want to show you today has a navy base, rather then black, navy is a softer and has endless options for adding colour.

In the store I added bright pink knitwear and it’s a perfect match. There is a lot of bright pink around this season, Ive noticed a lot of pink suits and trousers arrive in the younger fast fashion stores, but we can still be inspired by some of that even if we don’t want to wear a full pink suit.

A print like this gives you endless options simply by adding colours, think Blush, Orange and Navy, or even White. These all make great options for adding another colour, also a dark denim would look great, a denim jacket, or a navy suit jacket would be ideal to wear to work.

As we come into Spring I can see the skirt being worn with some knitwear and later exchanging that for a shirt, blouse or even a simple t-shirt.

Purchases like this make good money sense, as you can wear this early on and also right through the summer months, brightening the footwear along the way too. Start off with tamer Navy shoe and then embrace colour, and brighten and lighten along the way.
